When not working diligently to get out the word about the benefits of drinking ZenMatcha, he might be found pursuing his passions in the mountains and rivers around Sun Valley. Winters are spent skinning up mountains for some fresh backcountry tracks, and summers are a jumble of climbing local mountains, mountain biking, and fly fishing some of the world’s best fly fishing opportunities.
Michele heads up our fulfillment department, ever vigilantly ensuring that our customers receive their ZenMatcha as quickly as possible. Michele is working towards her PhD in social/organizational psychology with and emphasis on conflict and conflict resolution. A native Michigander, Michele now calls Idaho home.
Leading the ever-busy LA lifestyle, Jennifer’s love and commitment to ZenMatcha comes from an understanding of the importance of finding healthy focus & zen in the day-to-day rush of the urban jumble. Having developed a deep love of all things Japanese in her youth she is eager to help share something as significant as matcha with the world. In her spare time she finds joy in the weird and wonderful, constantly seeking art and adventure from Burning Man to Belize and beyond.
Ceramic artist and creator of extraordinary hand crafted matcha bowls. Lauren, a graduate of the prestigious Otis Parsons College of Art and Design, mixes it up as a designer of innovative jewelry, ski coach at Sun Valley, and potter/artist at Boulder Mountain Clayworks, where she also oversees operations. This from Lauren says it all: “There are some artists out there whose concept is about making a living by creating practical and functional works of art without having to prove anything else. I am one of them”.
